The smart alternative to embossing
What is etching?
When we etch a logo into a notebook cover we are actually removing a fine layer, and this creates a subtle contrast. It isn’t always ideal but with smaller areas it gives a fine result. Arguably better than embossing. We often need to etch when the cover of the notebook doesn’t have sufficient depth to make a clean embossing.
